Participating in the Flowing Hearts Indigenous Art Collective was something I never imagined myself doing, and I’m so grateful to Nicole for seeing something in me and encouraging me to share my work. She helped me recognize my photography as a Spirit gift — something worth nurturing and sharing, instead of just a hobby. That understanding shifted everything for me.
Being part of the gallery and getting to share my artwork and stories with people who truly resonated with them was an incredibly affirming experience. It gave me the confidence to keep creating and to take up space in ways I hadn’t before. I’m so thankful for the opportunity and excited to continue contributing to future shows.
